May to September is the dry season and is excellent for game viewing. October to April is greener with great birdlife and baby animals, but can be hotter with rain.

A 3–4 day safari is ideal for first-timers. If you want more game drives and a relaxed pace, 5–7 days is best. You can also add the Panorama Route.

Yes. Many travellers combine Cape Town with Kruger using fly-in or flight + transfer options. It’s one of the most popular South Africa combinations.

Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy

Booking Confirmation

  • A quotation does not constitute a confirmed booking.
  • Your booking is confirmed only once payment has been received and acknowledged by Tourgy Tourz.

Payments

  • Day tours: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Multi-day tours: A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 21 days before tour start.
  • Bookings made within 30 days of travel require full payment upfront.

Flights & Ticketing

  • Where domestic or regional flights are included, flight tickets are issued only after payment is received.
  • Confirmed flight details will be shared once tickets have been issued.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 30 days or less before the tour start date are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation terms may vary for certain suppliers and peak travel periods.

Peak Season Travel

  • Travel during peak seasons is subject to limited availability and price increases.
  • Accommodation may be provisionally reserved; however, lodges reserve the right to release space if bookings are not fully paid.

Taxes & VAT

  • All prices quoted by Tourgy Tourz already include applicable statutory taxes, in accordance with the regulations of the country where services are delivered.
  • South Africa: VAT at 15%
  • Zimbabwe: VAT at 15.5% (effective 1 January 2026)
  • Other destinations: Local statutory taxes apply according to local laws.
  • Tourgy Tourz reserves the right to adjust prices should mandatory tax or statutory charges change.

Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover unforeseen circumstances.
